How it works

This variant extends Lightning Roulette with two additional multiplier stages. The first selects one to five numbers with 50x–500x multipliers. Chain Lightning can expand the selected set to at most ten numbers, and Double Strikes can raise multipliers on selected spots to 600x–2,000x. The ball must still finish on a covered winning number.

XXXtreme Lightning Roulette adds two distinct possibilities to the original Lightning sequence: a larger set of selected numbers and increases to multipliers already on that set. Keeping those operations separate helps explain what the extra animations actually change before the ball result settles the bets.

The differences that matter

  • The wheel has 1–36 and one zero.
  • A straight-up bet is required to win a Lightning or Chain Lightning multiplier.
  • Chain Lightning never takes the combined selected set above ten numbers.

Count the selected numbers correctly

The first Lightning stage selects one to five numbers. Chain Lightning can add further spots, but the combined set cannot exceed ten. Double Strikes can then increase multipliers on selected spots. A multiplier increase is different from another number being added to the set.

Illustration: if the first stage selected three numbers, at most seven more could be added before reaching ten. The phrase 'up to nine additional' is compatible with a first stage containing only one number; it does not mean nine can always be added to the initial selection. Neither example predicts how often any selection size occurs.

Three conditions behind a multiplied result

For a multiplied straight-up result, your wager must cover the exact number, the number must have a multiplier, and the ball must finish there. A chip on a split or another grouped wager does not satisfy the straight-up requirement merely because the winning number lies inside its coverage. Likewise, a selected number that the ball misses creates no return for that straight-up bet.

A useful accounting illustration is to imagine six separate 1-unit straight-up bets and a final settlement credit of 200 units. The round profit would be 194 units after subtracting the entire 6-unit stake. This deliberately hypothetical credit is not a claim about a particular multiplier's settlement convention. It shows why the total returned by the game and the net result for the round are different amounts.

Compare the complete payout structure

Evolution's launch announcement describes this version as intended for players seeking greater volatility. Its larger maximum therefore should not be read as proof of better expected value. That comparison requires the ordinary straight-up payout, the frequency and size of multiplier awards, and the handling of the original stake. The public product page does not supply all those inputs.

Do not carry the original Lightning Roulette's 29:1 ordinary payout into this version without checking. Similarly, use the final multiplier shown for a selected number rather than treating the Double Strike name as an instruction to double every earlier display yourself.

Before choosing a table

  • Read the ordinary, non-multiplied straight-up payout; the consulted page does not state it.
  • Check whether every displayed multiplier is eligible for the wager you placed.
  • Compare the complete payout table, not only the larger maximum multiplier.

Return to player: read the scope

No scoped RTP or ordinary straight-up payout is stated on the consulted page.

A return percentage describes a long-run model under specified rules. It is not the probability that your next wager wins, and it does not promise a session result. Different bet positions can have different returns.

XXXtreme Lightning Roulette questions

Are ten numbers boosted on every spin?

No. Ten is the maximum combined selection described by the provider, not a promise that every round reaches it. The number of initially selected spots and the later additions need to be distinguished.

Does a 2,000x maximum give every number that payout?

No. Double Strikes apply to selected spots, and the published maximum describes the top possible multiplier. It does not apply to every number or every winning bet on the layout.
