How it works
Mega Roulette adds randomly selected 50x–500x multipliers to a single-zero roulette game. Between one and five straight-up spots receive those multipliers each spin. Its Mega Bets controls make it easier to cover groups of individual numbers, while the layout also offers standard inside, outside and racetrack bets.
The most useful Mega Roulette distinction is between choosing a group of individual straight-up bets and placing one conventional outside bet. They can cover the same winning numbers while using different stakes and settlement rules, which makes the total-bet display essential to understanding a Mega Bet.
The differences that matter
- Multiplier awards apply to selected straight-up bets.
- Mega Chances, Mega Dozens and Mega Columns place one chip on each number in the selected group.
- Those grouped straight-up wagers should not be confused with one conventional outside wager.
- Mega Roulette 3000 is a separate title and must not be given this game’s rules.
Worked example: Mega Dozen versus an outside dozen
The provider says Mega Bets place one chip on each number in the selected group. Illustration: with a 1-unit chip, selecting a Mega Dozen places twelve individual 1-unit straight-up wagers, costing 12 units. It is not a single 1-unit bet on the dozen. If one of those numbers wins, eleven of the individual stakes lose and the remaining stake settles under its straight-up rule.
At a fixed total budget of 12 units, the relevant comparison is twelve 1-unit straight-ups against one 12-unit outside dozen. Both cover twelve numbers, but the outside wager does not acquire a straight-up multiplier merely because its group contains a selected number. The cost and the type of wager must both match before two results can be compared fairly.
Coverage does not describe the final payout
Assuming equally likely pockets on the stated single-zero wheel, twelve different numbers cover 12/37 of outcomes, approximately 32.43%. That is the chance the ball lands within the group, not the chance of a Mega Multiplier win. A multiplier award additionally needs the winning straight-up number to have been selected for enhancement. The provider's product text does not publish the distribution needed to turn that requirement into a complete probability calculation.
For a separate accounting illustration, suppose a 12-unit group produces a total credit of 80 units after settlement. The net round profit is 68 units. If a display instead reports only the winnings on the successful chip, its returned stake must be accounted for before calculating the total credit. This hypothetical example avoids assuming how the game's 'x' notation handles that stake.
Keep Mega Roulette and Mega Roulette 3000 separate
Pragmatic Play's October 2025 announcement introduces Mega Roulette 3000 as a new title building on the original. It describes up to eight selected numbers and a 3,000x maximum for that version. Those figures, and its advertised RTP, should not replace the original Mega Roulette rules in a guide or comparison table. Check the full lobby title before using either set of numbers.
Before choosing a table
- Check the total cost of a Mega Bet group before confirming it.
- Read the base straight-up payout and the in-game RTP by bet type.
- Verify that the lobby has the original Mega Roulette rather than Mega Roulette 3000.
Return to player: read the scope
No scoped RTP or base straight-up payout is supplied in the consulted provider description.
A return percentage describes a long-run model under specified rules. It is not the probability that your next wager wins, and it does not promise a session result. Different bet positions can have different returns.
Mega Roulette questions
Does the Mega Bet button make the selected numbers cheaper?
The official description identifies it as a shortcut for placing individual chips. The total cost is the number of selected wagers multiplied by the chip value. A convenient selection control does not itself establish a discount.
Can the original game's RTP be inferred from its 500x maximum?
No. Expected return depends on how frequently each award occurs and what the ordinary winning bets pay. A maximum award supplies neither of those missing inputs, so it cannot establish the game's RTP on its own.
