How it works
Adventures Beyond Wonderland turns a Playtech slot theme into a live studio show, combining costumed presenters with augmented-reality characters. Official descriptions identify Wonderspins, Walterspins and Magic Dice features. The public material is useful for identifying the format, but it does not provide a complete current wheel distribution or bet-by-bet payout table.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland uses physical studio action, augmented reality and several named features. Playtech's original and US launch descriptions identify the format but leave gaps in the detailed rules. The worked distinctions below use Pennsylvania's published July 2025 rules as a specific reference version, not a universal specification.
The differences that matter
- The live version is a separate product from the original Playtech slot.
- The 2023 US announcement describes a revolving studio, Wonderspins and Walterspins.
- Playtech describes Magic Dice as a separate mini game in that announcement.
Which wager qualifies in the Pennsylvania reference rules
The published layout includes number bets and separate Magic Dice, 2 Wonderspins, 5 Wonderspins and 2 Walterspins positions. The matching Wonderspins bet qualifies for at least the number of spins named. Walterspins begins with a bubble selection that modifies starting character values, followed by at least two spins.
For a simple stake example, two units on 2 Wonderspins and one unit on 5 Wonderspins cost three units together. If 5 Wonderspins is the winning position, the one-unit stake is the stake associated with that feature. Treating the full three-unit spread as the qualifying stake would overstate the award. The different labels are therefore financially meaningful, even though both contain the word Wonderspins.
Keep Boost and Mystery separate
In this reference version, Boost can enhance a numbered wager and does not apply to bonus games. Mystery has its own rules: the Card Soldiers branch pays across placed wagers, while the Caterpillar branch enhances a further spin and can affect a triggered bonus. The word multiplier therefore has different scopes in different features.
When reviewing a result, first identify the feature that supplied the enhancement. Then check which wager or game values it changes. This is more precise than multiplying every displayed figure together. It also helps distinguish an increase in a possible future award from money that has already been credited.
Read the payout convention for each feature
The Pennsylvania rules distinguish a Magic Dice multiplier from the final Wonderspins payout odds. For example, they express a Magic Dice 10x outcome as 9:1, while a Wonderspins meter is paid as odds to one. A shared x-style display should therefore not be assumed to include or exclude the stake consistently across every feature.
Arithmetic explains the difference: a ten-unit total return on a one-unit stake contains nine units of profit. Ten-to-one profit odds instead produce eleven units returned. Check the actual version's settlement description before using a screen multiplier to reconstruct a cash result.
Before choosing a table
- Open the rules for the exact regional version to check wheel segments and bonus eligibility.
- Confirm whether any mini game uses a separate stake.
- Read per-position RTP and win caps rather than importing a figure from a differently named Wonderland game.
Return to player: read the scope
No scoped RTP was found in the consulted official provider materials.
A return percentage describes a long-run model under specified rules. It is not the probability that your next wager wins, and it does not promise a session result. Different bet positions can have different returns.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland questions
Are the detailed rules above universal?
No. They describe the Pennsylvania reference document dated July 19, 2025. Confirm the rules of the version opened in the casino.
Does the live game share the original slot's paytable?
Playtech describes a separate live adaptation. The shared theme does not establish shared payout rules.
