Live games: where to start
Betfair has its own branded tables alongside familiar games from Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Playtech and Stakelogic. If you already know whether you fancy roulette, blackjack or baccarat, you can head straight to that category. Game shows have their own appeal, with a presenter, a wheel and bonus rounds to follow.
| What you're looking for | Games to explore | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| A familiar roulette table | Betfair Live Roulette | A branded Pragmatic Play table. Check its rules and stake range when you open it. |
| Roulette with extra features | Cash Collect Roulette or Lightning Roulette | Bonus features come with different payout rules. Read the ordinary payouts as well as the largest prize. |
| Blackjack without waiting for a seat | Betfair One Blackjack or Infinite Blackjack | Multiple players share the opening cards and make their own decisions. |
| A straightforward card game | Betfair Live Baccarat | Choose a bet, then the dealer follows the drawing rules. Side bets have separate prices and payouts. |
| A lively game show | Crazy Time, Mega Wheel or Adventures Beyond Wonderland | Pick the positions you want to back. Covering more positions increases the total stake. |
Betfair's public game categories and provider listings
The branded Pragmatic Play tables are part of a documented UK and Ireland partnership. Branding gives the room a Betfair look; it doesn't mean every table has the same rules. Our fourteen game notes explain the individual formats and link to the underlying sources.

First Person games are computer-generated, even when they resemble a live title. Auto Roulette can use a real wheel without a dealer. If seeing someone deal the cards or spin the wheel is what you enjoy, check the actual format before opening a table.
First Person and roulette formats
We could confirm the selected titles in public operator material, but not reliable current GBP minimums for each. The opened game is the place to check the stake, any extra charge and available seats. For help choosing, try our roulette, blackjack and baccarat guides.
The welcome offer is for slots
The current direct offer gives new eligible customers 50 free spins, then another 50 after qualifying play. It uses code CASF51. Live roulette, blackjack and baccarat do not qualify for the second stage.
| Stage | What you need to do | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| First spins | Register with CASF51, opt in and open an eligible game. No deposit required. | 50 spins at 10p each |
| Second spins | After using the first set, opt in again, deposit £10 and play £10 on eligible Jackpot King slots. | Another 50 spins at 10p each |
Dated operator guide and the two offer pages
Each batch expires after seven days. Spin winnings are paid in cash. E-wallet deposits do not qualify for the deposit offer; check its payment rules before funding the account. A method being accepted for ordinary play does not automatically make it eligible for a promotion.
Expiry, cash winnings and excluded deposits
Use the eligible-game list attached to the offer, rather than any slot with a similar name. The terms also say some titles may need the browser instead of the iOS app. When the free spins finish, the game returns to real-money play, so check the balance before another spin.
If you're only interested in live tables, judge Betfair on its games and payments. You do not need to play slots just because there is a welcome offer.
Deposits and withdrawals
Pay by Bank starts at £5 for deposits. Debit cards and Apple Pay are also listed, with PayPal and other e-wallets among the additional methods. The cashier shows which routes, minimums and limits apply to your account. The welcome offer's second stage needs £10.
Deposit methods and method-specific minimums
Paysafecard was discontinued on 29 June 2026. Older payment lists can still mention it, but the current help says it cannot be added or used for deposits.
Paysafecard discontinued on 29 June 2026
| Method | Published estimate | What can affect it |
|---|---|---|
| Pay by Bank | Allow at least 90 minutes for the first withdrawal. Later eligible UK withdrawals are described as immediate. | Requires an eligible UK sterling bank account and GBP Betfair account; checks can add time. |
| Eligible faster debit-card payments | 1-4 hours | Depends on the bank and supported card service. |
| Standard debit-card payments | 2-5 working days from the request | Bank holidays and additional checks can delay receipt. |
| PayPal, Skrill, Neteller or MuchBetter | UK help table: 4-24 hours | Method availability, account checks and return-to-source rules apply. |
| Standard bank transfer | Method guide: 1-5 days | This is a different route from Pay by Bank. Confirm the estimate shown in the cashier. |
Published payment estimates, not our own timing tests
Why a withdrawal method might be unavailable
Betfair normally returns deposits to the methods used to fund the account before allowing remaining winnings to go elsewhere. That can explain why a working card or wallet is not yet selectable. Check outstanding net deposits in the cashier, or ask support to explain the routing.
If a card expired, update it with the replacement from the same bank. If the bank account has closed, ask support what ownership evidence it needs. There is a simple example below; making another deposit is not a reliable fix.
Returning deposits to their original payment routes
For a standard card withdrawal still missing after five working days, ask Betfair for the ARN payment reference so your bank can trace it. Keep the withdrawal date, amount and transaction reference handy.
Tracing a delayed card withdrawal
Pay by Bank is listed as fee-free. Other charges or limits should be checked in the cashier; the terms also allow costs for excessive transactions after advance contact. We have not made or timed a cashout.

The player perspective
What players report
The useful stories here are about everyday things: finding a game, getting a payment through and reaching someone who can sort out a problem. Several players liked the experience. Others describe frustrating checks or game errors, so we've kept the outcome beside each account.
Checked 10 October 2026. Self-reported experiences from a selected sample; transactions haven't been independently verified. Eight selected accounts across Trustpilot, Apple and AskGamblers. Five were published in September or October 2026; three older accounts are grouped separately.
Payment praise needs a little context
Christopher names a slot but gives no payment method or elapsed time. His positive experience is useful to read alongside the published withdrawal guidance.
Document checks can involve more than one conversation
Troy's frustration was having to repeat the process after updating his details. His account was eventually restored, which matters when assessing the whole story.
Look for the final update
James's older roulette complaint ends with a confirmed refund. That ending is more informative than the complaint headline alone.
Two accounts, with their outcomes
Christopher describes an easy payment experience. Troy had a more frustrating time with document checks, but confirms that his account was restored.

How we put these meta reviews together
What we included
Identifiable public authors describing a concrete experience, including successes, problems and follow-ups. Each card preserves the source, location evidence, date and reported outcome. Country-profile labels don't verify an account's jurisdiction.
What we left out
Sports-only reports, overseas-market accounts and unsupported claims that losing sessions prove games are fixed were excluded. A favourable slot review is not treated as a live-table test.
How to read the findings
The selection is editorial, not a survey or an exhaustive census. People choose whether to post, and complaint sites attract problems. We don't average incompatible platform ratings or turn these reports into a complaint rate.
Where the evidence stops
Three positive, three mixed and two critical accounts. This is a selected reading sample, not a satisfaction survey or a payout-speed average. We have not verified private account records or playing locations. Two reports concern general account services; another does not identify a casino or betting product.
Trustpilot publication dates, labels and replies were checked on the individual pages. All five selected Trustpilot reviews are unprompted; two also carry a redirected label. Apple supplies full 2024 dates. James's complaint has no exact publication date available, so its displayed date is our check date, not the date of his session.
Have a payment question? Compare these experiences with the published withdrawal routes and limits. For an existing dispute, use the local escalation guidance.

Checked 10 October 2026 · Betfair / PPB and game rights holdersFor account help, use the Betfair help centre and its Get in touch chat. We have not measured reply times. The formal complaint route is useful if an ordinary support conversation gets stuck.
Official help and contact route
If a game freezes, note its name, round reference and time, and check whether the bet was accepted before trying again. A screenshot of the error and the relevant transaction will be more useful to support than a description of a missing balance alone.
A worthwhile account setting
Betfair documents two-step authentication using an authenticator or text message, with options for each sign-in or a new device. Look for it in your security settings. These are published features; we have not tested the sign-in flow.
Two-step authentication options
Account checks and playing away from home
Betfair first tries electronic age and identity checks. If it asks for documents, follow the instructions for that document type: a clear original ID photograph is treated differently from a downloadable proof-of-address statement.
The normal document-review target is four hours, sometimes 24. That does not cover every extra check or guarantee that a restricted account will reopen within a day. Evidence of income or the source of deposits may be requested separately.
Identity checks and separate funding evidence
Do not use a VPN to hide your location or bypass country restrictions. The terms prohibit disguising the IP address or preventing correct location identification. If a location block looks wrong, contact support rather than trying to work around it.
Location and IP-address rules
This review covers Great Britain. Betfair's Exchange, overseas casino services and separate international payment arrangements are not evidence of what a GB casino account can use.
Licence, customer money and complaints
The GB casino service involves Betfair Casino Limited, account 39435, and PPB Entertainment Limited, account 39426. Both have active remote casino licences on the Gambling Commission register. The Betfair Casino entry lists www.betfair.com as an active domain.
Current casino licences and domain record
The regulatory record matters too
On 17 December 2025, the Commission recorded a combined £2 million regulatory settlement across four Paddy Power and Betfair licensees, including both casino entities. Its findings concerned failures to identify and respond promptly to signs of gambling harm.
The regulator also acknowledged cooperation, early acceptance and action planning. This was a shared settlement, not a standalone £2 million fine against Betfair Casino. The additional history below keeps a separate 2023 sports-marketing penalty in context.
Official findings and settlement, 17 December 2025
What "high protection" means
Betfair describes a trust arrangement with high protection for customer funds if the business becomes insolvent. Money passing through a third-party payment provider may take a few days to enter the trust and is not protected by the deed during that interval. This arrangement does not cover gambling losses.
Customer-funds protection and its transfer exception
If you need to make a formal complaint
Start with customer service and ask for escalation if the issue remains unresolved. Keep the reference and explain the outcome you want. The published targets are acknowledgement within 24 hours, an initial reply within ten working days and a final UK response within eight weeks.
For a gambling-transaction dispute, the UK procedure offers free independent resolution through IBAS after the final response. You can also seek ADR after eight weeks if you remain dissatisfied. Keep the relevant terms, transactions and conversations together. Service-only complaints are outside ADR's remit.
GB complaint procedure and independent adjudication
Set the limits that suit your budget
Betfair offers deposit and net-deposit limits. A deposit limit caps money paid in; a net-deposit limit deducts withdrawals. Choose an ordinary deposit limit if you want a ceiling on all deposits. Reductions take effect immediately, while UK increases have a 24-hour cooling-off period.
There are also time-outs, product restrictions and self-exclusion. Don't assume a deposit limit here also covers another Flutter account. Our safer-gambling page explains independent support and GB exclusion options.
Spending controls and options for taking a break
Who is Betfair a good fit for?
Betfair is worth comparing if you like branded dealer tables, a choice of suppliers and familiar live shows in one place. Its UK banking options are another practical reason to look, provided your bank and account qualify for the route you want.
The welcome is less relevant to someone who only plays live tables. Payment routing and extra account checks also deserve a look before depositing, particularly if you plan to use more than one funding method.
Compare the live-game welcome at BetVictor, the Playtech selection at Betfred or the branded tables at Sky Casino. Our comparison page and UK casino guide bring the practical details together.
Questions players ask
Can I qualify for the welcome spins by playing live roulette?
No. The deposit stage uses eligible Jackpot King slots. See the two-stage offer before opting in.
What is the minimum deposit?
The Pay by Bank guide lists £5. Other methods have their own cashier limits; the welcome's deposit stage requires £10.
Can I use PayPal?
PayPal appears in the official payment guidance, subject to availability and payment-routing rules. E-wallet deposits are excluded from the welcome deposit offer.
Are withdrawals always immediate?
No. Eligibility, the chosen payment route and checks matter. The payment table separates faster routes from standard card and bank transfers.
Does Betfair's Exchange commission apply to live casino?
The published Exchange commission rules concern Exchange betting. They should not be added to a casino game's costs. Read the table's own fees, side bets and payouts instead.
Charges by product
Have you played these tables or tested withdrawals?
No. This review combines primary operator and supplier sources, regulatory records, official product images and attributed player accounts. The research method explains the limits.

Fourteen live games and the differences that matter
This is a selected guide, not a total table count. Operator categories establish public listing; supplier pages explain the formats. A listing does not prove a free seat, the current GBP minimum or access for every account.
Betfair Live Roulette · Pragmatic Play
Roulette. A Betfair-branded table for the familiar roulette choices, including single numbers, red or black and groups of numbers.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
A straightforward place to start if you would rather watch the wheel than learn a bonus game.
Cash Collect Roulette Live · Playtech
Multiplier roulette. A roulette wheel with lucky-number bonuses, including Diamond, Coin Power Up and Cash Collect rounds. Straight-up, split, street, corner and line bets can qualify.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
An outside bet such as red or black does not qualify for those bonuses. Check the paytable for the bet you choose.
Super Stake Roulette · Stakelogic
Multiplier roulette. Silver multipliers are part of the game. The optional Super Stake feature adds Gold Numbers and the Money Wheel bonus.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
Switching on Super Stake adds 50% to straight-up stakes: a £1 bet becomes £1.50.
Lightning Roulette · Evolution
Multiplier roulette. Selected numbers receive multipliers. A straight-up win without a multiplier pays 29:1 rather than the usual 35:1.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
The multiplier needs a straight-up bet on the selected winning number. A red or black bet covering it does not receive that multiplier.
Betfair One Blackjack · Pragmatic Play
Blackjack. An unlimited-player blackjack table, so there is no waiting for an empty chair. Players share the opening cards but make their own decisions.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
The four side bets are optional and cost extra. Six Card Charlie rewards a six-card hand that has not gone over 21.
Infinite Blackjack · Evolution
Blackjack. Another unlimited-player table with a common opening hand and individual decisions after the deal.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
Four optional side bets and the Six Card Charlie rule add choices. The main hand can be played on its own.
All Bets Blackjack · Playtech
Blackjack. An eight-deck, unlimited-player game whose dealer stands on soft 17. The layout offers five types of optional side bet.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
The main hand and side bets have different odds. There is no need to fill every betting box.
Lightning Blackjack · Evolution
Blackjack variant. A winning hand earns a multiplier for the next round. The opening main bet also carries a mandatory 100% Lightning fee.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
A £5 opening main bet costs £10 before any split, double or optional side bets. Check the whole amount being committed.
Betfair Live Baccarat · Pragmatic Play
Baccarat. A Betfair-branded live card table. Choose Player, Banker or Tie, then the drawing rules determine which cards are dealt.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
Check whether you have selected standard or no-commission play. Side bets and alternative modes have their own paytables.
Lightning Baccarat · Evolution
Baccarat variant. Lightning Cards can multiply a winning hand. A mandatory 20% fee is added to the total bet.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
A £5 bet costs £6 with the Lightning fee. Do not confuse it with the separately listed XXXtreme Lightning Baccarat.
Crazy Time · Evolution
Game show. A presenter-led wheel with four bonus games: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
You must back the bonus that lands to win from it. Each extra betting position adds to the cost of the round.
Mega Wheel · Pragmatic Play
Game show. A number wheel with nine betting positions. One number receives a randomly chosen Mega Multiplier in each round.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
A simpler game-show format to follow than shows with several different bonus games. Past results do not predict the next spin.
Adventures Beyond Wonderland · Playtech
Game show. A colourful wheel show with number bets, Magic Dice and two versions of the Wonder Spins bonus.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
Backing a number does not cover the bonus positions. Each choice is a separate bet.
Ice Fishing · Evolution
Game show. A live host fronts a virtual money wheel and three fishing bonus games: Lil' Blues, Big Oranges and Huge Reds.
Check the GBP limits in the table before betting.
The wheel is digital, not a physical roulette wheel. Watching a bonus is free, but winning from it requires a qualifying bet.
What an extra game feature can cost
These examples use a hypothetical £5 bet to make the fees easy to compare. They are not recommended stakes or profit predictions.
| Bet | Extra fee | Initial cost |
|---|---|---|
| Lightning Blackjack opening main bet | Mandatory 100% = £5 | £10 |
| Lightning Baccarat total bet | Mandatory 20% = £1 | £6 |
| Super Stake Roulette straight-up bet, feature enabled | Optional 50% = £2.50 | £7.50 |
Supplier fee rules
Calculation: £5 + (£5 x fee rate). Splits, doubles, side bets and extra betting positions can add further cost. Check whether the interface's displayed total already includes the feature fee.
A simple example of returning deposits
Suppose you deposited £20 by card and £10 by PayPal. The return-to-source policy requires those deposits to go back through their original routes before remaining winnings can be directed elsewhere. It does not mean you have to gamble the deposit again.
The cashier's outstanding net-deposit figures are the starting point. If a payment method has closed or the figures look wrong, ask support to explain the required route before requesting another transaction.
Original funding methods and outstanding net deposits
Withdrawal minimums and conflicting help figures
The individual guides give £5 as the Pay by Bank withdrawal minimum and £10 for standard bank transfer. A broader help-table image instead shows 1p and £5 respectively. We use the method-specific figures and recommend checking the cashier before relying on a small withdrawal.
The same image labels card payments immediate, whereas the accompanying guidance distinguishes 1-4-hour faster payments from 2-5-working-day standard payments. For bank transfer, the image gives 1-3 working days while the method guide says 1-5 days. These are inconsistencies in the published help, not results from our own tests.
Method guides and the general withdrawal table
Large wins and inactive accounts
The casino conditions set a maximum cumulative profit of £1 million per 24 hours, excluding progressive jackpots. Individual game limits can also apply. This is a winnings limit, not a daily withdrawal allowance.
Casino conditions and maximum profit
UK accounts become dormant after 24 months without activity. The help says there is no dormant-account fee, and logging in reactivates the account. If Betfair moves money for internal accounting, it gives at least 30 days' notice and says your entitlement to the balance is unaffected.
UK dormant-account rules
The separate 2023 marketing penalty
On 25 May 2023, the Commission announced a £490,000 fine for PPB Counterparty Services, trading as Paddy Power and Betfair. A sports-promotion notification had gone to devices linked to self-excluded accounts in November 2021.
This involved the sports-betting entity, not a finding about casino-game fairness. The regulator said there was no evidence the marketing was intentional or that excluded customers were allowed to gamble. Keeping the entity, dates and findings together avoids merging different cases into one.
Official 2023 announcement
How we checked this review
Checked 10 October 2026. We read public GB game collections, supplier rules, the dated welcome guide and its linked conditions, method-specific payment help, account rules and official regulatory records. We compared conflicting payment instructions rather than choosing the fastest figure.
Some direct casino pages returned a territorial restriction to the research service. We did not bypass it. Game coverage therefore uses accessible public operator listings and supplier evidence, not a logged-in lobby survey. Current table limits and account-specific availability remain for the opened game and cashier to confirm.
Player accounts retain their dates, product scope and visible outcomes. Images are credited publisher material. We did not register, deposit, gamble, withdraw, test support speed or measure app performance. Read our editorial approach or send a dated source through corrections.
